CAT 101

Each cat has their own unique traits.

1. Hunters by nature
Cats spend 6-8 hours each day hunting. Their whiskers, ears, eyes and nose are extremely sensitive to their surroundings, which helps them to locate the prey.

2. Good communicator
Cats are good at expressing their feelings vocally and through gestures. Pay attention to your cat's gestures, they might want to tell you something urgent!

3. “I am speed!”- Cats at 2 am.
Similar to cheetahs, cats are known for their speed because of their strong, highly controlled muscles and sharp reflexes. Wait for cat zoomies, they would amaze you (also give headaches) with their speedy performances.

4. “I can take care of this”-Cats, 1200 BC
Cats are so independent in fact, that they are the only species to have domesticated themselves, adapting into household pets as a way to survive.Nevertheless, they really do need interaction and play. So, make sure you spend some time playing with
your feline.

improves social behavior. Interesting toys will make your cats happy.

5. Protective
Every cat has their own special spot they prefer at home. Cats often protect their spot from other cats invading it by marking it through scratching, spraying or rubbing.

6. Meat-eater
Cats are carnivores by nature. Meat is a staple in their diet so make sure to provide a good portion of meat ingredients at every mealtime.

7. Nap like a champions
Cats are champions in naps. They need 12-18 hours of naps per day to recharge and ready to conquer their hoomans over.

8. Hygienic little furballs
Cats are known for their personal hygiene and cleanliness. Unlike their canine compatriots, they rarely find themselves with an open jar of peanut butter stuck to their snoots! Still, being a cat owner does involve regular home cleaning and care.
